French Style Wool Chore Coat

The simple chore coat has become one of the most iconic coats of all time in menswear. The style is seen all over the world but mostly famously in France where the basic style has existed since the 19th century but really exploding in the early 20th century. This chore coat is based on the French style with its timeless and practical design including large patch pockets, button front, and basic collar. The coat is made of wool, lined in cotton, with natural corozo buttons. The coat is made to order and available in chest sizes 34 to 46 inches. If you have any questions please ask!

Every item made on this website are handmade by me. I do the entire process from beginning to the end. I select all fabric, draft every pattern, and sew every item. Due to the time involved in this process since most every item is made to order it is a time consuming process. Depending on my work load it can take upwards of 1 to 2 months depending on the garment made. I work to get the finished product to you as quickly as possible.
